Het is weer bijna zover, whoohoo... M'n verjaardag komt er weer aan, namelijk op 1 september. En I know, nu kijk ik er nog naar uit maar binnen enkele jaren hou ik het steevast bij "Forever 29". Nu, het gaat niet zozeer om dat verjaren, maar wel om de superleuke cadeautjes die hierbij horen. Elk jaar kijk ik zo hard uit naar die leuke cadeautjes en dat gevoel blijft jaar na jaar even sterk. Dezelfde symptomen zijn trouwens terug stevig merkbaar voor de kerstperiode. De huiselijke warmte en gezelligheid krijg ik er dan ook gratis bij. Je verjaardag vieren is ook wel gezellig, maar meestal is de hoofdboodschap dan wel nog altijd werken op die dag ;-)

Yep, it's that time of the year again! My birthdayyyyyy on the 1st of September. Yes I know, now I'm so looking forward to my birthday but in a couple of years I'll want to be forever 29. But it's not my birthday in particular I like so much, it's more the nice presents I'm looking forward to. Each year I can't wait to open them. Same feelings around Christmas. With an extra touch of cosiness. It's also very cosy on my birthday but most of the time I have to work that day :-)

Elk jaar word ik ook verwacht een verlanglijstje samen te stellen en daar kan ik echt wel uren aan spenderen. Ik schrijf dan zaken op waarvan ik achteraf denk: "ik wou ook nog dat, dat en dat". Ken je dat gevoel?

Each year I'm supposed to have a wish list but it can take me hours to compose it. I'm writing down a lot of things but afterwards I'm thinking "I also wanted these 3 items". You know the feeling?

Ik ben er zeker van dat mijn verlanglijstje dit jaar opnieuw superveel zal wisselen gedurende dagen, weken en maanden, maar ik geef jullie toch al een overzichtje van de musthaves waarvan ik nu absoluut denken: "hebben, hebben, hebben"! Benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden.

Little Black Dexters dress - € 170

Ik was al eventjes op zoek naar een 'little black dress' dat je zowel met een paar pumps als met übercoole sneakers kan combineren. En tadaaaah... gevonden! Dit losse model met zijzakjes is het helemaal! De leuke pailletten op het kraagje geven je nog een extra chique touch! Kleine tip: voor mijn Instagram volgers wordt hier misschien wel een en ander duidelijk ;-)

For quite some time I was looking for a little black dress that I could combine with some pumps and with a pair of amazing sneakers. And yes, we have a winner! This comfortable model with a pocket on each side has it all! The bling bling sequins on the collar provide the finishing touch! Het Bucket List boek - €14,99

Binnenkort voorzie ik hier een post rond mijn bucket list, waar nu toch al wel wat zaken op staan. De laatste tijd las ik online echter heel wat leuke comments rond dit boek. Misschien een leuke bron voor wat extra inspiratie. Want voor ik 30 word, wil ik toch wel al het een en ander gedaan hebben ;-)

Soon I'll make a post about my bucket list, with already a few items on it. But the last couple of weeks I've read some positive comments about this book. Maybe a practical tool for some extra inspiration to make my bucket list a little longer. Because before I'm turning 30, I want to deal with some of these things ;-)

Als grote fan van smokey eyes kan dit palet zeker niet in m'n make-up kast ontbreken. Online duiken hier en daar al leuke looks op met dit palet. Klaar om zelf dus eens alles uit te testen ;-)

Sacha knee boots - € 149,99

Vorige winter heb ik moeten afscheid nemen van mijn zwarte knielaarzen. Ik wou ze toen ook zoveel mogelijk dragen, met als resultaat dat ze de komende winter niet meer zo draagbaar zijn. Dus tijd voor een nieuw paar, en deze knielaarzen van Sacha zijn toch echt wel super?

Last winter I had to say goodbye to my beloved black knee boots. Of course I wanted to wear them all the time with the logical result that they aren't that winter proof anymore. So time to move on and pick a new pair. Aren't these Sacha boots the perfect match for this winter?
