Ik heb het wel over de nieuwe nagellakcollectie waar Christian Louboutin mee op de markt komt. 30 kleuren komen tijdens de maand september op de markt en zijn verdeeld in 3 categorieën: Nude, Noir en Pop. Om het afwachten in spanning wat draaglijker te maken voor de fans werd al 1 kleur uitgebracht... Rouge Louboutin (what else?!). Waar de rode nagellak oorspronkelijk gebruikt werd om de finishing touch aan de Louboutins te geven, wordt de kleur van de rode zool nu teruggebracht in een nagellak. En is het is een pareltje geworden!
I'm talking about the new nail polish collection of Christian Louboutin. 30 colours will be released in September and will be divided in 3 categories: Nude, Noir and Pop. But there's already 1 colour released to relieve the pain of waiting... Rouge Louboutin (what else?!). Where Christian Louboutin used the red nail polish to finish his gorgeous pair of shoes, he now brings the colour of the red sole back to nail polish. And it's a real treasure!

Het flesje heeft een hoogte van 20,5 cm en is geïnspireerd op de Ballerina Ultima, de hoogste ballerina ooit door Christian Louboutin ontworpen. Het doet me persoonlijk ook wat aan kalligrafie denken. Qua kleur is er een dégradé tussen het zwart en het rood wat het flesje dat beetje extra geeft (als het dat nog nodig zou hebben). Het speciale borsteltje zorgt voor de perfecte hoeveelheid lak en zorgt ervoor dat er geen luchtbelletjes gecreëerd worden. 2 lagen zouden hetzelfde effect hebben als 20 lagen van een traditionele nagellak. Qua verpakking werd gekozen voor een luxueus zwart doosje.
The bottle has a height of 20,5 cm and is inspired by the Ballerina Ultima, the highest ballerina ever designed by Christian Louboutin. It reminds me of some calligraphy writing. The red/black ombré effect of the bottle gives it a real finishing touch (if that's still needed). The special brush provides the perfect quantity of polish and prevents the creation of air bubbles. 2 coats would have the same result as 20 layers of a normal nail polish. The bottle is packed in a luxury black box.
1 flesje kost 45€ en is via de Louboutin website en winkels verkrijgbaar. Ook via de Sephora website zou de nagellak binnenkort kunnen gekocht worden, maar daar is levering in België momenteel nog niet mogelijk.
Dus met wat telwerk zou de volledige collectie 1.395€ gaan kosten. Of verkiezen jullie toch enkele kleurtjes en een paar Loubies? ;-)
