Een weekje geleden vond voor de 2de keer de uitreiking van de Zalando Blogger Awards plaats, dit keer in Brussel - in het prachtige Hôtel de la Poste. Ik was er al eens geweest voor een event, maar toch maakte het opnieuw indruk op me. Ook de voorafgaande wandeling door het Goederenstation was super! Het is een prachtige locatie voor tal van events. Als je het niet kent, absoluut eens opzoeken! Maar terug naar de Zalando Blogger Awards dus ...

A week ago, Zalando organized their 2nd Blogger Awards. This time in Brussels (in the beautiful atmosphere of the Hôtel de la Poste). I went there before for another event, but this location keeps impressing me. Same for the Maritime Station where you have to walk through to reach the location. The Station is also an amazing location for a lot of events. If you don't know it, you have to Google it! But back to the Zalando Blogger Awards now ...



Dit keer werden er 4 awards uitgereikt: Best Fashion Blog Female, Best Fashion Blog Male, Best Newcomer en de People's Choice Award. Uiteraard een dikke proficiat aan de winnaars: Emma, Jonathan, Claire en Astrid. En een grote dankjewel aan jullie om voor mijn blog te stemmen in de categorie People's Choice Award! Het is super dat jullie m'n blog zo weten te appreciëren. Ik heb wel geen award gewonnen, maar jullie steun is nog belangrijker voor me om jullie te blijven voorzien van vele fashion posts. Dus een dikke merci ;-)

This time there were 4 awards: Best Fashion Blog Female, Best Fashion Blog Male, Best Newcomer and the People's Choice Award. Congratulations to the 4 winners: Emma, Jonathan, Claire and Astrid. And a huge thanks to you to vote for my blog in the category 'People's Choice Award'! Lovely to see how you all appreciate my blog! I didn't win an award, but your support is a lot more important for me to keep posting about fashion. So thank you all! :-)



Tijdens het event werden niet alleen de awards uitgereikt, maar kon je ook gezellig creatief zijn in de DIY corner in samenwerking met Veritas. Van steentje en studs tot naald en draad, je kon zelf je tas of muts customizen naar je eigen wensen. Uit het mega-assortiment van Zalando werden ook enkele stuks geselecteerd waar je wat nieuwe fashion inspiratie kon opdoen en je kon je eigen paar Stan Smith sneakers onder handen laten nemen door Mister Fiksit. Deze professionals zorgden dan voor een persoonlijke touch op je sneakers. Zo staat op mijn paar nu Stephanista te prijken. En ik ben er echt wel gek op! Dus als je me steeds naar beneden ziet kijken, you know why ;-)

During the event, not only the award show took place, but you could also be creative in the DIY corner, supported by Veritas. For example: customizing your own purse or cap with stones or studs, or just sewing or stitching the perfect piece. For some new fashion inspiration you could check out a selection of the huge Zalando assortment. And... thanks to Mister Fiksit I got my own personalized Stan Smith sneakers with Stephanista on both shoes! I just love them! 






Zeer interessant was tot slot ook het fashion panel met Belmodo leading lady Tiany Kiriloff, fashion blogger Polienne, en Zalando PR lady Jolanda Smit. Hoe kwamen zij in fashion terecht, welke beslissingen hebben ze genomen om verder te groeien, ... Zeer boeiend! En het was ook super om wat bij te kletsen met heel wat collega-bloggers! Voeg hier dan nog een photobooth aan toe en je krijgt een onvergetelijke avond!

Very interesting was the fashion panel with Belmodo leading lady Tiany Kiriloff, fashion blogger Polienne and Zalando PR lady Jolanda Smit. How they began their career in fashion, which decisions they made to grow in fashion, ... Just loved it! And it was amazing to meet my fellow bloggers again! Add a photobooth to this and you get an unforgettable evening!
