Press Days SS16: Camel - Cut out - Pleated

Wat een weertje! Regen, wind, pffff... Kunnen we misschien al aftellen naar de zomer? Want er komen zoveel leuke collecties op ons af. Ik had het vorige week al over de vele denim mogelijkheden. Nu komt hier ook camel, cut out en pleated bij.

In heel wat collecties zijn verschillende stuks in camel kleur terug te vinden, ideaal als je, zoals ik, houdt van herfstkleurtjes. Ook cut out stuks zullen in verschillende dressings opduiken. Dit zijn letterlijk kledingstukken waar een bepaald patroon uitgesneden is. En tot slot pleated, dit jaar was ik al gek op de lange plooirokken en deze trend zal er volgend jaar opnieuw bij zijn. Samen met de plooibroeken, vaak in culotte stijl. On top of my wishlist? Een camel jasje en een pleated culotte!

What a crappy weather outside! Rain, wind, oh my dear god! Is it too soon to countdown for summer? Because so many nice collections will be launched! Remember the denim possibilities last week? This week I'll add the camel colour, some cut outs and pleated garments.

In a lot of collections I found camel coloured clothes. Perfect if you like autumn colours like me. Maybe you'll also add some cut out items to your closet... Stop, cut out items? These clothes literally have a cut out pattern. And last but definitely not least: the pleated trend. This year I was head over heels in love with the maxi pleated skirts. So happy to see this trend will also appear during spring/summer next year. In the amazing company of the pleated skirts, you'll also see the trousers, sometimes as a culotte. On top of my wishlist? A camel coloured jacket and a pleated culotte!

Camel zou je eerder in de herfst in je garderobe verwachten. Maar ook volgende lente/zomer zal dit kleur in het straatbeeld te zien zijn. Zelfs in z'n suède variant. Van camel jasjes tot een leuk shortje of plooirokje...

Maybe you only expect camel coloured items in your closet during autumn and winter? Not anymore! You can also wear them during next spring/summer! Even in suede. Camel coloured jackets, shorts, pleated skirts, ... it's all up to you!

Cut out
Nee, je hoeft niet in je kledingstukken te snijden volgend seizoen! ;-) Heel wat collecties zorgen voor een stijlvolle variant... Dit kan een patroon zijn over het volledige kledingstuk, maar bijvoorbeeld ook enkel op de schouders. Afhankelijk van de stof geeft het item dan een bepaalde uitstraling aan je look. Zo geeft cut out leder een edgy kantje aan je outfit, terwijl cut out suède een zachtere indruk geeft.

No, I'm not saying you have to take your scissors and cut into your own clothes! ;-) A lot of brands will do this for you next season... In a stylish way! The pattern can cover the whole garment, or just the shoulder pieces for example. It depends on the fabric which effect it gives to your look. Pick a leather-look cut out if you want an edgy outfit, and a suede piece if you want to make a more gentle impression.

Ik ben al een tijdje op zoek naar een lange plooirok, maar toch voldoende verschillende met de maxirokken die ik al heb. Geen gemakkelijke opdracht dus, maar ik heb het gevoel dat ik volgend seizoen een groot aanbod zal hebben om uit te kiezen. Tijdens de persdagen merkte ik toch ook wel vaak de pleated culotte op. En ik was al verkocht bij het eerste exemplaar. Echt wel een statement piece naar mijn gevoel! Wat denken jullie ervan?

It's been a while now that I've been looking for a maxi pleated skirt, but still different from my other maxi skirts. Not that simple, but I have a strong feeling I'll have a huge choice next season. During the press days the pleated culotte got my attention. I already fell in love with the first one I saw. It's a perfect statement piece! Do you like it?
